Just wanted to share to cards I recently made.
This was given to a neighbor as a Get Well card. I asked my mother to crochet little doilies for me since I have no clue how to do it...and I don't want to learn!..lol I think it adds such a special touch to the card.
This was a Sympathy card given to a neighbor who lost her adult son to cancer.
WELCOME

Cards I've been working on....
Just thought I would take the time to post some cards I've been working on.
The first one I did was done using stamps from this month's sponsor at Have Your Way With Paper. Crafters Creations once again sent us the cutest bear stamps to work with and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. The design of the card was inspired by my sweet friend Betty Bee.
This card was done for a challenge at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot
The idea was to make a 'kid' card so I thought how perfect to use my new digital stamps from Digital Delights. Check out all the cute stamps Wendy has to offer!!
I needed a get well card for a neighbor friend so this is what I did.

This is a card I made at the recent SWARM I attended. Something so simple was shown to us that several of us had to try it. Using butterfly stickers (sorry, don't have the manufactured name), I took one butterfly and set it on vellum. Used my Bic markers and colored in the wings. Then I trimmed it and adhered it to the cardstock. For the top butterfly, it was attached to the transparency that was in the packaging and again trimmed. This gave the top butterfly some stability. Glue dots down the body held the two butterflies together.
