Be Inspired Wednesday #36

It's Wednesday again and at Cuttlebug Challenge we call that 'Be Inspired Wednesday'!! Keeping Father's Day in mind (June 21) we were to create something masculine and emboss cardboard/grungeboard. I love the colors in my Basic Grey cardstock, so I let that set the theme for me. I took the cardboard backing to a DCWV stack and sprayed it with various shades of Glitter Mist. I then embossed it with the Bird Call folder. I then cut it to the size I wanted and adhered it to a DCWV brown cardstock. The bird was tapped with ink, but I wanted it darker so I used H2O and it worked perfectly for what I wanted. I also decided to place Flower Soft in a few areas. Yeah, I thought of pollen..lol I then embossed two pieces of chipboard using the Mosaic Texture folder and rubbed Craf-T metallic rub-on for color and popping. Brown ink over self stick border, added Prima flowers, and I was done. This was a very easy card to make and lots of fun playing with color!!..
Be sure to check out what the Design Team has for you this week!!!..I'm sure you will find lots of inspiration!!
