My Texas online 'sisters' were visiting Disney with their family this past June and since I'm like minutes away, I had to meet up with them!!..Sadly, we didn't get to spend as much time together as I would have liked. Two of the sweetest girls anyone could know. I also spent the early part of June with them on our Texas Have Your Way With Paper retreat!!..Never enough time together, but I cherish every moment we did have..
WELCOME
Thank You for visiting my site!!

One Year Old!!
There is something about a first birthday that is so full of fun and excitement. Normally, first birthdays are an all out affair for parents and friends of the one year old and the one year old will only have photo memories of the gala event.
We at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot will be having a one year birthday party for the whole month of September!!! Most of us at Cuttlebug Challenge remember the year of challenges, inspiration, knowledge and prizes and we hope you remember our first year too. New or old to our site doesn't matter when it comes to party time. You are all invited!!
Become a follower at Cuttlebug Challenge so you don't miss out on the fun, challenges and prizes.
A big thank you to Mo from Digital Pencil Too for this super cute one year old digital stamp!!

Be Inspired Wednesday #46-Cosmo Cricket
First I would like to thank Cosmo Cricket for their generous kit, Earth. Everything I needed to greate my projects was in this kit and all I needed to do was add my creativity. Using my Cricut Expressions, I made the larger flowers, Marvy punch for the smaller flowers and Sizzix Leaf die. Once I started with the marker cup holder, everything just fell into place. ProClick was used to bind the journal and a CD case was used to make a photo case.
Three Cuttlebug Embossing Folders were used; Herringbone, Tiny Mosaic Texture and Harlequin.
Thank you Provo Craft and Cosmo Cricket!!

Be Inspired Wednesday #45-shape card
Welcome to Be Inspired Wednesday at Cuttlebug Challenge! Our challenge this week was to create a 'shape' card and our sponsor, Paper Popsicles, gave us an awesome choice of templates to choose from. I chose the dress template and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it!! I used Core'dinations orange card stock for the base of the card. Once I embossed it with my Provo Craft Happy Birthday embossing folder, I then decorated the edges with my Martha Steward corner punch. The dress was embossed with Provo Crafts Victoria embossing folder and the apron, made from vellum, was embossed with the Swiss Dot folder. The dress opens to read 'Happy Birthday' and the inside of the orange card had a note to my granddaughter. I gave her this card for her birthday on Sunday. Sorry I don't have the name of the ribbon and flower that were used.
A big thank you to Paper Popsicles, Provo Craft and Core'dinations for being such great sponsors at Cuttlebug Challenge!

Things I like to do:
1. Love to cruise!
2. Love hugging my grandchildren!
3. Surf the net!
4. Scrap!
5. Cyber talk with my online sisters!
5 Very talented ladies....

Angel Maggie
Since I love this little Maggie so much, I thought it only fitting that I would dress up Angel Maggie. This card was done for a sketch challenge at Digital Delights and using Angel Maggie from Digital Delights By Louby Loo.
First I covered a plain white card with a paper doily and then started the stacking. Pop dots were used for dimension and my Copic markers dressed up this cute little Maggie stamp. Added some Stickles for some extra sparkle!!

August ATC-hand drawn
Each month we have a different theme and guess who picked 'hand drawn'? Yep, me..the person who can't draw!..I tried so many different things that I was ready to scream, but...to save my sanity I thought of the design above. All hand drawn and designed by me. :) Wish you could see the 'shine' this card has! I used H2O and Pearlescent watercolors by Yasutomo. The center triangle is on a pop dot.

Be Inspired Wednesday #44
Wow, where did the week go??!!..Here it is, Be Inspired Wednesday at Cuttlebug Challenge!!..This week, the Design Team was challenged with a scene card.
A big thank you to our sponsors, Sakura of America for the Souffle pens and stickers and to Core'dinations for their awesome cardstock! For my card, I used a cute digital stamp by 'delights by louby loo' then colored her in with my Copic markers. For the water and beach I used Core'dinations and gave the sand some dimension by embossing the cardstock with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder. Chalk was used for the sky and a flower for the sun. Sakura butterfly and dolphin stickers were perfect for my scene and the Souffle pen gave it just the right color and look.

Be Inspired Wednesday #43
Good Wednesday morning to you!!..For today's challenge, the design team at Cuttlebug Challenge was asked to make a project using a digital stamp designed by Maggie Lamarre, owner of the Cuttlebug Challenge site. Also, use Core'dinations card stock and the embossing folder of our choice.
For my card, I embossed the edges of the green card stock with a border embossing folder from Provo Craft. Sorry, I don't know the name of the set. For the top card stock, I used the Happy Birthday folder and for both card stocks I sanded it with my sanding block. Using a copic maker, I outlined the circle stamp and used chalk just to tone down the white of the card stock. Added ribbon, flower and a paperclip and I was done. Quick and easy!!
Thank you Provo Craft for being such a great sponsor and to Core'dinations for sponsoring us with some awesome card stock!!
