Be Inspired Wednesday #107

Keeping with the Halloween theme at Passionately Artistic (formally Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot), I created this cute little tri-fold step card.  This is one of my favorite designed cards to make because it's so easy and works for any occasion.

Take a 8 1/2 x 11 card stock and it cut lenghtwise. This will give you two cards to work with.  Score at 1 1/2 (valley) 3 (mountain) 2 1/2 (valley).  All strips of card stock will be 4 inches in length.  First cut at 1 1/4, second at 2 3/4, third at 2 1/4 and 4th cut at 3 1/2.  Now you are on your way to create and decorate in whatever theme you choose.

Using my Cricut and Design Studio, I was able to weld the word BOO.  The BOO is glued to the first fold and extends out to cover the rest of the card.  Normally, this size card would fit into an A2 size envelope, but I may have extended my scary ghost too much.  No problem; I'll just use a bigger envelope!

Digital Layout with My Memories Suite

I am so excited to share with you this super digital program, My Memories Suite 2.  I was given the opportunity to try this program and give my take on it.  I found it to be user friendly with so much to offer to do a great digital page.  One of the things I love doing is hybrid layouts and I can see where this program will come in handy.  There are free pages to download and in this quick layout I just did, I was able to download a free digital Halloween kit! The background paper and frame are included with the program.  The rest of the layout was done from a kit called All Hallows' Eve by Twinky

Please click on the banner located on the side of my blog for more information about this cool program.  I would appreciate if you used my banner to purchase this program for your digital/hybrid layouts!!

Cuttle Your Pages Friday 10-8

This week is Breast Cancer Awareness at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot, so for my layout I decided to show what I do to get the word out. Our theme was to emboss vellum which is perfect for the soft look I was going for.

Showing is a business card that I make and leave it around town at those stops to the restrooms and/or the table I was sitting out while visiting a restaurant.

My husband took one to work so that it could be put on the Carousel Bulletin board for everyone to see.

Maggie, owner of Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot, has decided to make some changes on the blog.  This will be the last day for Cuttle Your Pages and Saturday will be the last day for Cuttin' Up Saturday.  Though I won't be highlighting this feature of embossing on layouts at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot, please be sure to stop by my blog and see what I have to share with you.

Be Inspired Wednesday 10-6

It's that time again at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot to inspire you with our designs and creativeness.  In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our theme is anything that reflects what this month is all about.  It could be a card of encouragement or reminder to take get your mammogram.  Sometimes, just a "thinking of you" card to a breast cancer friend or family member means so much.

For my card, Think Pink, I could add a sentiment of "Thinking of You" or "Just a reminder to get your mammogram".

It's that time again, to show you what we, at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot, are embossing today.  Our layouts reflects embossing on paper piecing and our scraproom!!..

The card I was working on is displayed at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot for our Be Inspired Wednesday challenge.  Be sure to check out Wednesday and take the challenge; you may win one of two Cricut cartridges.

Here is my layout using Winter Frolic cartridge for my paper piecing.  I love how easy having a Cricut makes for doing paper piecing since I hate cutting..
